How DermaGenome collects, uses, and protects your personal data and skin images.
What We Collect
DermaGenome collects information you provide directly: name, email, intake questionnaire responses, and skin photographs. We also collect usage data through standard web analytics. Skin photos are encrypted at rest and in transit. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
How Skin Photos Are Used
Skin photographs uploaded to DermaGenome are used solely for your skin analysis, specialist review, and progress tracking. They are encrypted, stored in private cloud storage, accessible only to you, your assigned specialist, and DermaGenome administrators. They are never used for advertising, shared publicly, or sold.
Specialist Access
Your assigned specialist has read access to your intake questionnaire, skin photos, and AI analysis for the purpose of conducting your specialist review. You may request removal of specialist access at any time by contacting support@kdermai.com.
AI Processing
Skin analysis AI processes your photos on our secure servers. AI analysis results are private to your account. We do not use your photos to train external AI models without explicit opt-in consent.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data and skin images at any time. Under GDPR (EU/EEA residents) and CCPA (California residents), you have additional rights including data portability. Contact privacy@kdermai.com to exercise any of these rights.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide services. You may request account deletion at any time, which will permanently remove your personal data, skin images, and analysis results within 30 days.
